I show both front lit and backlit view of the 3" x 4" aqua blue nightlight so you can see daytime and nighttime views.
Here is how I make them.
First I cut the background glass and vase from large sheets of glass. I then layout the design and add frit to the bottom to ground the piece. I paint metallic mica on the surface then sprinkle glass enamel powder over it for lots of texture. I fire it to 1350 degrees so everything melts together. After removing it from the kiln I add painted details to bring out the handmade quality of the piece.
Nightlights come standard with a manual on/off switch or an optional automatic sensor which will turn the bulb on when the room is dark and off when it is light. This feature offers convenience , is energy efficient and works best when placed near a window. A 4 watt bulb is included.
Share with family and friends, they make great gifts.
