I've been fascinated with the Mayan civilization ever since I visited Teotihuacan and Chichén Itzá. The art and architecture created by this race was mind boggling in its enormity.
I ponder what is hidden below the surface therefore much of my work explores the subject matter of time and space. Many pieces I create infer the passage of time. I include imagery where elements are buried below. What lies beneath or above and beyond our perceptions of reality is a cool mystery.
This piece measures approximately 20" x 28" Measurements to be confirmed. I placed hanging hardware in between the layers of glass. Best when hung in front of a window. Base not included.
