This is part of a series of ocean themed pieces I created in memory of my niece and soulmate Danielle. Both she and I enjoyed growing up at the Jersey Shore and had the best time of our lives there. We collected many pounds of sea glass and walked for hours along the coast and we especially loved sinking our feet deep into the pristine white sand. Dani has moved on to greener pastures and I await the day I can see her beautiful face once again.
Images show how this piece looks when it is frontlit and then how the sky changes colors when it's backlit. It will appear a deep pink in the daytime in front of a sunny window & lavender/white streaky when reflecting interior lighting.
This is a substantial piece. I recommend it be placed on a surface in front of a window. There is no hanging hardware currently incorporated. I can fire it again with hardware added at your request. Base shown is not included.
